I was scrolling through my phone and found a picture I had previously taken from this week. The moon is shining bright during a late night run through the hood!

The moon shining bright yesterday as I drove to school. The air is so cold and crisp; winter is coming.

No moon tonight
After sighting so many beautiful moons for the past week, I am disappointed to say that I was not able to spot the moon tonight. I think it is mainly because of the clouds. -Shannon Carroll

It is very cold tonight. I can't see the moon but the stars are bright.

Week 2
The moon looked eerie this morning. I like how I can see it on my way into school in the mornings.

Morning Moonbow!
Did anyone else see the glorious "moonbow" this morning at 7 AM?
A moonbow (like a rainbow) occurs when the surrounding air is filled with moisture and a spectrum filled ring surrounds the moon in rainbow colors as the rays of the illuminated moon light refracts the water droplets.
SPECTACULAR!

Re: Moon in the Morning
This morning while I was driving to school I was rolling out the kinks in my neck from volleyball practice and when I looked through the sun roof of our car I saw a beautiful waning crescent in the dark sky.

Saw the moon this morning at 7:30 am. It was very bright and a waning gibbous. There were clouds that were surrounding the moon that gave it an eerie feeling.

Moon in the Morning
On the way to school this morning I saw the moon. This is a picture of the moon through the sunroof. It was taken at 7:14. Regardless of the moon, the sky was pitch black.

Full Moon and beyond...
To all moon watchers:
We are now at the half way point in our month-long active journaling. Please remember to continue to document your observations daily, regardless of the weather.
You may also have noticed with the use of your handy moon dial, that moonrise now will begin to occur at midnight and later as we move through the month. You may wish to switch to MORNING view times for best documentation. The waning gibbous moon on Monday morning was clearly visible high in the western sky at 7 AM. Sunrise, as we approach the early November return to normal time, is just prior to 8 AM.
Remember, you must post weekly for full credit for this assignment.
Keep looking up!

Saw the moon a little after midnight. Shining in the clear, pitch black sky. Three deer walking across a lawn in the neighborhood.
